Note: This is an old character I couldn't add until now because of the broken submission page, so I don't remember very well some details. I think she is a Sentinel and she reached level 60, but I'm not 100% sure.
Completionist, as far as I remember. Well, maybe almost completionist. Usually I stop searching minerals when my journal says I completed this quest.

"Mixed" explanation: Ended the game with 100% Renegade and about 80% Paragon. Most major game choices were done Paragon, most side missions and dialog were done renegade. Used only intimidation and never charm. Encouraged crew (such as Garrus) on a renegade path whenever possible, but was also nice to all crew members.
Finished the game with the "rich" achievement, and at level 60. Game should import into ME2 with both Paragon and Renegade bonuses.

Shepard completist. I did every quest, minerals, Insignia/Matriarch Writings, Post-Alpha/Beta/Sigma, some ships lost in the space, visit every planet.
I used console to max Paragon and Renegade to be free when choosing. But in the end I put the Renegade points to half the bar, so my Jane is Paragon in Mass Effect 2 (besides the important decisions are Paragon). But I used to act Renegade when it had more sense (a lot of times with bad people)

Nova's personal history:
Nova was born on the colony of Mindoir and led a fairly happy life until everyone she knew was either killed or captured by Batarian slavers. As the sole survivor of the Mindoir massacre, Nova joined the Alliance Navy as a marine, where she excelled, earning her N7 designation in record time. However it was not until the bloodbath on the pirate moon of Torphan that Nova firmly established her reputation for utter ruthlessness. Dubed "The Butcher of Torphan" Nova is wanted by the Batarian Hegemony for war crimes and crimes against the Batarian People. Indeed the Hegemony has produced several propaganda films honoring the heroism of the brave honorable Batarian soldiers who died fighting the insane, genocidal Commander Shepard. Nova collects these movies.
Nova can be very charming, to the point of being manipulative. She uses diplomacy whenever she feels it is a viable option, but does not hesitate to employ extreme violence whenever diplomacy fails, or when she is facing Batarians. She does not like Batarians.
While Nova does hate Batarians, she otherwise strongly believes in equality and cooperation between the sentient races. Racism has no place in the galaxy. The only thing she despises more the racists are Batarians.
In her off hours, Nova enjoys playing Grim Terminus Alliance, heavy drinking and beautiful women. She subscribes to various news magazines and Fornax. She has always wanted a hamster.
